The year of 2010

Welp... 2010 is over. It's crazy to think about how fast this year has gone. There have been lots of up's and down's. Lot's people know about, alot that people don't know about. But everything has changed me. Good or bad, it's changed me. I've grown to know certain people better, and grown apart from others, learned that you can't trust everyone and that people aren't always going to be there for you. Even if they know it's when you need them the most. I've learned that you have to stand up for yourself, and not let others decide what you need to do in life, or what your next step will be, who you should and shouldn't hang out with. Because in the end..... it makes you, you. You're the only one that can change who you are. And if you don't want to... you don't have to. Everything in life is based on decisions you make. I know that everyone always tells you that and you grow up with people telling you that. But it never really hits that it's true, until it happens to you personally. Some of you know that the beginning of 2010 didn't start out to hot for me. That I dealt with alot of crap from people I thought I knew better than I really do. It wasn't fun, but it mad me grown up faster than I thought I had to. People I thought would be there for me no matter what choices I made, weren't there for me anymore. They showed their true colors and made me realize that friends and family have to earn their trust from me. Of course things did get better, I coached softball, went to school, and had a TON of new adventures that were worth every minute. Living in Idaho and being away from everything I knew was exactly what I needed. Even though it didn't work out and I didn't get to stay, I loved that I went and experienced something that I needed. Working at Kino, getting to know new people, trying new things, being someone that I want to be has been awesome and I wouldn't change the year of 2010 for anything. I posted some pictures of things that have happened in 2010. I hope that eveyone learned and grew from what has happened in that last year and hopefully 2011 will be just as awesome. my new adventure :))

Well as all of you know I made a decision to move to Idaho. I was going to be living here for a year and just work to save money so that I can go to ISU and get in-state tuition. I have been here for a month and haven't found a job and can't even go to one of the community college. Basically I'm now coming home. Things haven't worked out and this is where i'm not suppose to be. I will be coming home August 18 and start working basically right away. I'm so excited to be coming home. I'll put some pictures up and show some of the things that I have done while I've been here.

We went to Pikes Market and walked around for a few hours. This is Mediteranian food we had. It's Baklavah (dessert), Tabuli (bulgar wheat salad) and Dolmeh (rice wraped in grape leaves)
Of course we had to go to a Mariners game!!! It was so fun!!
We went out driving around one night and Erins neighbor Allison came along. We had so much fun.... We found this statue and my cousin decided to kiss it... a bit awkward but hilarious!!!

The Blue Angels came to visit Idaho Falls. They are the jets that do stunts and such crazy things. Well it was $20-$25 a ticket to get into the field that you could sit and watch... We just climbed up on the roof and watched it from there!! Just as AWESOME!!!

Ummm since i haven't posted in a while!

I just want to start out with... these pictures are not in order... well they are just backwards. So the first pictures are newest and the last pictures are oldest. So these first pictures are of one of the girls in our group of friends who got married... we have a group of 10-15 girls or so that we are really close and we are all practically sisters....

Well now that the wedding pictures are over it's time to move onto Girls Camp 2009!

This year was the most amazing year of my life!

I don't think that I have had a better year at girls camp ever! We had so much fun.

I can't even describe the stuff that went on here!

This is a picture of the one and only cooks!!! They keep us alive at camp... with food and water!

This years theme was "Sweet is the Work" in this picture is a golden banner and after the program that had this banner in it, we each got a ribbion with a piece of paper attached to it and wrote our testimony on it. The banner was then attached to a carrier type thing.. i'm not sure how to describe it. Anyways we tyed out testimony ribbion the the carrier and they went on the hike with the girls and then used for bishops night.

Haha. Okay the first day we are up there it is just YCL's and Staff. Me and a couple of the YCL's got a little bored and drew hand people! They were the coolest ever!

This Picture is a very special picture. Jasmine Seaman, the one in the yellow jacket.... Her 16th birthday was on Thursday while at camp. So me and Whitney Redford and Hannah Peterson took her on her "FIRST DATE!!!" Don't mock us... she loved it and we had fun!

Okay. the next few pictures happened on skit night. To start off i'm gonna explain why we did our skit. On Monday night before all the little ones came up, our leader (Dawna Hulet) left out the stuff that we were gonna make our candy for the classes we had to teach with. We had skunks all night long. So for our skit we reinacted that night. It was hilarious.

Alrighty. here is a new thing to talk about.... Kinda... This is the bachellorette party we had for Ashley. We had so much fun.... i can't really talk about some of the things that went on... hahahere we are again. there is one thing different about these two pictures... can you see it!

bahaha... this picture has a boy in it! baha! we had some "strippers" crash out party... they were some old friends from High school and they had on like 20 layers of clothes and they ended in their swim suit and tank top... it was funny

New subject yet again.... My Brother and parents went out of town camping for a few days and i was at home with Kaitlyn because she had some stuff that she had to do. One day we went on a little shopping spree and got some new headbands and also did some things for my mom.

So again for Ash. She doesn't get embarrassed by anything!!! haha! so me and Paige decided to make her some footy pj's... they were basically the coolest things ever!! I loved them! We even were asked by people at the bridal shower to make them some because they were so cool!!! We're thinking of starting a business.... what do you think?

Joey+Rory

Well today I went to KMLE studio and met Joey + Rory. They were on the CMT's "So You Think You Can Duet". They are basically amazing and so down to earth. Joey (the girl) still even waits tables at her resturaunt she owns. Yes Joey is the girl and Rory is the boy. I was the only one other than Tim and Gwen (hosts of KMLE) to ask them a question! I still can't believe I met them!!! This is Gwen Foster and Me! She is pretty dang cool! (below)

Here is Rory, Me, and Joey! Her voice is amazing. I can't believe how pretty it is... she has that same twang as Dolly Parton but i love Joey's Voice way more. Before this picture happened Rory gave me a huge hug and kissed the top of my head as a joke and Joey was really embarrassed... haha It was pretty funny!
